Events

Polkerris Beach makes a great venue for events, being a self-contained, private beach. However, public access is always available and we have no wish to inconvenience the residents of Polkerris.

In the past, the beach has played host to corporate events, the Fat Face Rock Up And Sea Tour, a Team15 windsurfing event and the Fowey Lifeboat's 150th anniversary. Following the runaway success of the latter, the Polkerris Fun Weekend was launched on the bank holiday weekend of 29th and 30th May 2011, comprising the Boogie on the Beach on the Sunday and Lifeboat Day on the Monday.
